Last week was the first bike show of the year in Evansville Indiana. Some really nice Japanese bikes there this time around!
The portly gentleman is painter/fabricator extraordinaire, Darrell Smith. He painted my DOHC cb750. Here he is polishing his '42 flathead HD Sorry for the blurry phone cam pics! Pictured below are his Sporty chop that he threw together for "fun", and his son's Shadow.
The Goldwing with sidecar is part of a display from the Tri State Vin Moto group. Nice dudes with some killer restos (and one pretty little cafe bike)
I had to park my bike next to this chromed out KZ900 Crap nuggets!
Bottom pic from Tri State Vin Moto display again - a SOHC 750 with a vintage aftermarket turbo kit installed by original owner who kept this thing in his basement for 25 years or so.
My humble garage build in a sea of high dollar customs!
Mike McFadden of M&M Customs from Owensboro, KY built these four stunning bikes in his garage. He did all the work from English Wheel fabrication to paint all the while holding down a full time job. He worked on these in the evenings! Super nice dude. He asked my three kids if they wanted to sit on his bikes so I could take pics of them.
Dang, I coulda made it down to Evansville inside 3 hours.
The only thing I did last weekend was hassle Sonreir w questions about getting his (sparkmoto) R/R installed on my bike.
It was better than last year, I believe. I wish I would've taken more pics, but my phone takes blurry pics when I attempt a zoom, and my digital SLR ran out of juice.
