A little 'CAFE' do's and don'ts for a noob

Guys, I watch the show, read stuff here, and certainly look at pics. I don't mind cutting stuff up, getting dirty and greasy as hell. I've read and heard the words café, naked, and bobber. I'm picking up an 84 GPZ 550 for $250 and thought of stripping off some stuff. So what are the defining factors of these terms? Sorry I'm a noob but I love the looks and would really like to TRY to build something. I'm restoring a GPZ 305 but just want to build something else off the restoration path. I've built ALOT of street rods so I can fabricate, weld, paint, and mechanically minded. Educate me please

go ELR style, perfect bike for it

For a good representation of a cafe look at the banner at the top of the page,
for a nice bobber check: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=52802.0

For a sweet naked try: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=44072.0

And don't forget the street-trackers: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=48134.45

Now, I'm not saying that these are the "end all, be all" of their respective styles, but they are good representatives. ;)

I suggest that you spend A LOT of time reading the site, before you choose a style that fits you, and then buy a bike to build in that style.
