A new girl from Firth, Idaho!

Mini

#11 is a 75 Honda Scrambler chassis with a 82CB450
Hello! I am from Firth, Idaho & finally have my FIRST Cafe Racer! I have wanted one since I was 10 years old (37 now..so it has been a long wait)!

My racer is a Honda 360 Scrambler cahssis with a CB450 motor. I am currently doing a few final cosmetic modifications and will have pictures soon. I am hoping to meet up & ride with some enthusiast in SE Idaho this summer!

I am a snowmobile instructor and own a snowmobile technical mountain riding school in the US and love anything with a throttle and vintage in my free time! This forum looks like a great place to learn & share. I am hoping some of you will help me when I have questions on my bike as well in the future!

My business: http://www.backcountrybasics.com

Thanks!

Wow. I am from Boise and have never even heard of Firth Idaho. Haha. Guess I should get out more :-/

Regardless, welcome! There are a few of us from Boise on here... but not a ton.

Welcome to DTT! This is truly an inspiring site to be at. A lot of valuable information everywhere and if you ever need help with anything, ask away, I'm sure someone most likely has the answer.

I'm trying to think of what I wanted most at 10 years old - probably the latest Evel Knievel or Star Wars toy ;)

Welcome to DTT - checked out your site - I think referring to yourself as a snowmobile instructor doesn't do it justice!

Thank you for the welcomes everyone!

Firth is 15 miles south of Idaho Falls.

No, I am not from Firth, I moved to Firth last September.

Lol... & for the snowmobile instructor part I have done a few other things in the snowmobile industry leading up to what I do now, instruct. However, my main focus in the snowmobile industry is my snowmobile school today along with the support and help of, my husband, great aftermarket sponsors, and the incredable backing to my program by Arctic Cat snowmobiles. I am reaching a international vision that people thought I was a bit "LOOO LOOO" a few years back when I set out to instruct. This time last year I could barely buy food trying to make it over that "start up-first years in business hump and overhead" that was needed to get started doing something that had never been done. I still remember being scared to death if I was going to make it into another season last spring. So, when I wrapped up my riding season (sleds) this year was the first year I had a little extra to splurg on something "fun" after many sacrifices. My reward to a successful season to myself was going & getting something I have ALWAYS wanted, my bike! My husband asked if I was going to have "buyer's remorse"....."Not this time!", I replied!

I am looking forward to spending time in the forums and learning!

Thank you everyone!

you still in Firth? I am in Idaho Falls and I moved out here last August from Portland and I have yet to find anyone that is interested in Cafe bikes....I am swimming in a sea of Harley ridiculousness!
