A question on batteries.

Been Around the Block
I'm working on my first ground-up build and need a (very) small battery that will fit under the seat cowl. This is what I'm thinking. http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-custom-motorcycle-electronics-parts-small-12v-sealed-trugel-battery-78-0531.html

The bike is a 74 cb369t. I haven't made any decisions yet on lighting as I'm sure they're related discussions. I would like to get the battery ordered before I finalize the seat though, so that's why I'm here.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Are there any I should look to or any I should avoid outright?

It will work but personally I wouldn't go lower than 7A/hr
CB360 doesn't have best charging system in the world but it does produce enough to overcharge a 4A/hr
Battery life will be reduced

Good to know. Thanks!

Ok. Some quick measuring and it looks like this one will fit. Thoughts?

This battery is the same capacity as the OEM and will work just like the OEM. Not a bad choice at all...

To not have to start a new thread, anyone familiar with Anti-Grav batteries?

Tiny, sealed, light, and high Ah. Pricy, but was wondering if you actually get what you pay for...

Yes you do, if your bike as a well regulated charging system.
Do a search and see how many people have had major issues with LiPoFe batteries, they have 'issues' on many older bikes
