I have a accel coil single in dual out that I need help wiring up on my cb360t. I've got the two wires from the condensor blue & yellow and then the kill switch wire black/white. the accel coil 140403S has two posts to attach the power wires to but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to hook up
1. the yellow on one side and blue on the other
or
2. blue or yellow on one side and black/white on the other
need help please...anyone else running this setup? my old coils are junk and dont work at all. I've used the search function but couldnt find anything on how to wire new coils with single in dual out coils just different setups. So does this mean that I only need to use one point off the engine? the instructions said one fires negatively.
Thank you. just to be clear, both blue and yellow on one side and black white on the other?
the instructions say:
"the polarity of the two primary terminals is not important. one coil tower fires positive and one fires negative. it does not matter which plug fires positive or negative."
Does that mean it doesnt matter which post i hook up the blue and yellow wires to? just as long as both blue and yellow are on one side and the black/white wires are on the other?
You have the wrong coil.
CB360 has a 180 degree crank and needs two single out coils.
Sell it to someone with a CB350 or XS650 where both pistons go up and down together

I recall seeing someone using a single dual output Accel Supercoil on his CB125 or 175, the one with the skinny wheels. Either one of those bikes has a 180º crank.
Okay so if I go to the dual in dual out setup I've seen alot of guys post great things about the mikexs coil is this the one I need and should I be getting a resistor type spark plug cap? and if so how many k ohms spark plug cap should I get for the setup?
I'm runnin the mikesxs coils on my 360 with 5k caps. A dual lead coil will not work on a 360 because each piston fires separately whereas on the 125 and 175 the pistons fire simultaneously.
