Hey guys ! i have a standard stock Ace 125 ... what the go . could i take this on a 350km road trip .. or will the thing over heat and die on me . if so what mods will i have to install so it would be able to go on a long SLOW cruise . :)
cheers . :)

i rode over 300km to get my stock ace home when i bought it, i had no issues with the motor , the only issue i had was the headlight bolt falling out.
change the oil before the ride is really the only thing you might want to do if its old oil.

standard things apply like checking air in the tyres and chain tightness before a long ride (same as any bike) but you should be fine :)
i live in australia so the weather was warm on the day and it didnt overheat at all

350k is doable; it will take most of the day though.

I've done several trips that distance on a stock (and not so stock!) 'Ace'.

Crazy

chers guys ! also an aussie so that reassuring . oil got chnaged at about 250k's its now up to 900 . so it should all be fine ! what tire pressure you guys run at .. i always see something different

I changed the oil about every 500k during run-in. Oil is cheap, especially for peace of mind.

The recommended 225kpa seems to be reasonable for tyre pressure.
