Aftermarket Brake/Clutch

Good day all!! I'm looking at getting an aftermarket brake w/ master cylinder and clutch assembly. As a student I have a limited budget, any suggestions?

After some browsing I came across these. They're made of aluminum and seem to be of decent build quality. All for CAN $70. Is this master cylinder big enough for my single disk brake I'm running up front? ANybody have any experience with em or know someone on DTT that has run em?

Thanks for the help,

The ad states the pack has one clutch and one brake lever so I'd check wether they come with the remote reservoir.

Also, the important thing is the diameter of the bore in the master cylinder. You'll want one the same size as stock so firstly check what the bore is one your bike, then ask the seller what theirs is. If it's different look at something else as you'll have nothing but headaches with your braking.

Keep us posted on your response because I've been thinking of a set at some point too and these fromt eh same seller might be up my alley.

A buddy of mine just bought a set of those for his CX500 cafe project. Yes, it comes with the remote res. Can't tell ya any more than that though. He's currently rebuilding the motor so he hasn't tried them out yet.

Black w/red adjusters...

I see!! Thanks for both you responses. I'm glad to know a couple people have been eyeing them. I also never thought about the size of the bore. THanks for that Staffy. I'll let y'all know what i decided to go with.

Those are just the levers - not the whole assembly.
That's why the seller needs to be contacted as they don't state that it comes without the master or reservoir.

I just read their advert again and it looks like it's for the complete assembly because it mentions black and gold and it says to suit 7/8" bars and yet it calls them LEVERS which usually means just the part that pivots not including the perch and teh lever itself has a black adjuster so it's not clear.

Price for CNC levers without perches tends to be in the 80-180 range, but these come form HK, so it's anyone's guess. As Staffy said, contact the seller to be sure.

Thanks Teazer. Yah I figured i'd check to see if anyone had experience with em knowing that they are significantly cheaper than most other setups. THey look pretty rad, but looks don't count for squat if they fall apart when you need em the most.

It is the entire assembly. A buddy of mine bought them, and has them in hand.
Can't vouch for quality or function yet, as he's rebuilding the motor and hasn't used them.

What was the result with these levers?

Looking for aftermarket options myself and these look good, anyone know good CNC options too (about $200)?

Any of you guys ever use these? If so how'd they work out? And are they offered in different bores?

Just finished mine up on my bike, never figured out the bore but have plenty of bite even though I am running dual calipers & rotors. The nice thing with them is they have it locations to run wires for brake light and clutch lock out for the starter.

Would you recommend them? How long have you been using them? I am a bit leery of alot of things that come directly from china.

Not sure just barely started using them, you can tell they are made in china. The typical lighter weight materials and a definate step down. It's one of those things you get what you pay for. Personally I like them so far but clearly not as heavy duty as some.
