is anybody running an aftermarket oil tank on a CB750? looking for ideas, its the last part I need before I start mocking everything up on the bike and wiring it...then I can post pictures, yeeeeeaaaah
Planning on cutting off the three "spines" on the CB750SS and welding in a 3" DOM tube for oil in frame. Got the idea from a guy that races them out of Denmark. Kinda like the old Triumph oil in frame bikes.
I made one out of a fire extinguisher in college, (one of the smaller ones)
had a buddy weld on some fitting tabs and it worked great! i have also seen where a large paint ball gun can was used
I got the idea from Kong, he passed away a few years back, was a great help, sad he went... he helped me to build my 1st drop seat bobber out of a CB750
fire extinguisher oil can
