I was wondering if anyone has run the Airtech wide clubman bars and if they have any advantage over the Dime City, Carpy or whatever brand bars? They say overall length is the same but that the center section is wider. Im ordering some bars for my 74 cb750 this week and i just wanted to know if these have any advantage. Thanks

I have a pair of clubmans that I had on my Yamaha DS7 (250cc). The center section on it is 10" wide, and it's really too narrow for my '78 CB750. The two biggest issues I had were 1) the forks and triples are wider than the center section which limits placement, and 2) due to the narrow width, the master cylinder/brake line was trying to occupy the same real estate as my tach.
A clubman bar with a wider center section should eliminate both those issues.
