Allow myself to introduce.........myself?

Greetings, just joined up this am and I am loving the site. I am the proud owner of a 1981 Honda CB900F Supersport and a running but very rough in appearence 1977 Honda CB550K. I hail from the Clearwater Florida area and certainly don't mean to boost but we are blessed with year around riding weather. A little about my bikes. The 1981 I got for $500 from a kid who just didn't have the funds to replace the stator, rotor, and rectifier. The cost was $400 for me to get the electrical system up and running. I painted the ugly dull mag rims black and I think it gives the bike a sporty appearance. Dropped on some clubman bars since the pic was taken and she runs like a champ. The 1977 is running but was parked outside and will probably need total resto which will be a fun long term project for me. Well there you have it. Glad to be aboard.

Welcome to the herd. I have seen some really nice bikes made from those larger displacement early 80's bikes. Are you doing anything else cosmetically or is the 900 basically 'done'?

I think I'm going to keep the 900 as is for now. The 77 CB550 is going to require a bit of time and funds so that is where my attention I think will turn.

That's cool. I think those 900's are under appreciated. Post up if you get a build thread going on the 550.

Welcome aboard, always glad to see another big displacement older bike.

Welcome to DTT. Those old 900s and the cb750sc have been grabbing my attention as of late. Neat bikes for sure.
