This is my first bike at the age of 32, so I wanted something reliable to get some miles (well, actually kilometres) under my belt.
I thought that GB 500 TT would be perfect.Too bad those cost around 4k here. (and i´m talking about euros).
The honda xbr is the same thing, only with uglier trim and mag wheels.
I can live with that while keeping the saved 3k in my pocket.
Previous owner sucked at making the sales ad, so no-one wanted to buy it. It only said 86 xbr 500, 74k on the clock.
Owner before him had done a full rebuild, swapped the cylnder for a 600cc, new cam, new exhaust etc.
So far I´ve only swapped the original clipons back (it had superbike bars) and been riding my ass off.
I think that updates will have to wait for the winter, even though i got my plans pretty much figured out.
