What is a cheap effective Aluminum sheet to get for the battery box and tray to run under the fiberglass cowl? Or would I be better off with sheet metal?

I used 1/8 aluminum plate for mine and it's held up for 3 years now. Just switched to a Shorai lithium battery which weighs way way less than the batteries I was running so it should be even better.
Tim nice work! That's basically what I'm lookin to do to the kz. How about the grade? 2024,5052,6061? Those shorai batteries look nice. Wonder of that would bethe way to go for the kz with e-start?
