i'm at work cant see youboob here, ill watch when i get home, btw count sprokets yet? based on what stock ran and whats available for 650, assuming didnt modifie sproket from another model, i'd bet its a 18 tooth, but please verifie so i can order a sprocket, that gearing you have solves problem of constant gearing in town since you hit city speed on first gear.

sorry , i havnt yet.ill try n get roun to it for tonight .ill prolly end up goin to dq.i dont know why scince they have shitty coffee and i dont dig ice cream that much

Do Vespa's have clutches? How in the world does he get that up there if it's a twist and go. Heck to get my old ninja 250 up, I had to rev to like 13k and dump the clutch, and it was still hard to get up(or maybe I'm just too fat). He must have some wicked gearing or something.

yup, that one will have a clutch, and a 4-speed gearbox in it.
my very good friend has one done up to the tits...will crack 85 mph...and he weighs over 300lbs.
my 1961 Lambretta with the Stage 5 tuned Wiseco 190 setup will break 40mph in 1st gear even. can't wheelie tho...too heavy in front.

wanna see something NUTZ...

Tried the video link as {youtube=425,350}fHc6Ovgy8s{/youtube}, but with the right brackets, and the link didn't work.

I had a '52 Aguila scooter when I was like 12, my dad got it at a yard sale....that's what I learned to ride clutch with, had 4spd twist shift and clutch on the left hand grip....that thing was fun as hell.....it's disassembled in my dad's garage right now.....I should see what's up with that......

the old scooters where manual, clutch is same spot as our but the shifter is a second throttle sleave thats mounted under clutch level and you twist entire clutch to shift gears.

yup, that's how it was.....all mine was missing was the engine cover.....the other side fender had like a glove box built in...I gotta see if I can get that thing back...that would be a cool winter project.....I just got my rupp roadster back from him that I had when I was little....it's a rolling basket case though and I haven't even got to touch it yet

Ha ha! Didn't realize it was your video when I fixed the link. Nice! How did you mount the camera?

Just saw this question today.

I mounted the camera using a metal bracket I had laying around with a hole on each end. One end is bolted to the shock mount, the other to the camera.
The bracket is only about 6~8 inches long. Next time I try a longer one, or mount it up front.
I wanted to get the engine sound from the exhaust too. The wind gets too noisy. Might cover the mic with a piece of tape as well.
