An alternative to Dice City?

Putting boot to ass since 1967!
Where are you buying your parts these days?

I'd love to buy from DCC, helll I tried several times recently. I have money even, set aside.
I contacted DCC and got no response. I tried again and got one of the minions there but even he didn't get back to me after the first email. While I'm sure this is just an example of growing pains (good for them) I'm tired of waiting and I hate HATE getting blown off.If I'm going to spend 4-5 hundred dollars, I'd appreciate some action.

Ok....I'm slipping into a rant. Not good.

So who's buying where?

I like to buy from DCC but when I can buy a pair of mirrors for $30 on ebay with $4 shipping and the same mirrors cost $40 each from them with around $20 shipping...

I bought all sorts of stuff from DCC, like my bar end LED's, grips, stem bearings, shadow circ clips, etc... but not always the best choice to save cash.

keep in mind too, a lot of the places that do this stuff are small scale, and that keeps their prices low for all of us, when things get busy all at once (believe me, it's never a steady stream) emails can get stacked up and not answered in a couple days too. the phone is usually a good place to leave a voicemail, but rarely is it easy to get a hold of someone because they're either building something cool (which we wouldn't want to buy from someone who wasn't, would we?) or they're answering another call, etc etc... I personally know I lose some business because I can't get back to some people as quick as they'd like, but in my mind, it's worth being able to keep my prices competitive and not have to resort to offshoring production to do so...

-my rant...

the market is wide open thats for sure, another year or so and we'll have plenty of options.

What are you looking for swagger? My folks at POC/Clevelandmoto could most likely take care of you.

I can't speak for anything but my experience Swag, but DCC coddled me like a friggin' baby. True some of the prices are a bit on the high side, but the trade off was good service. I'd hate to see the guys lose that aspect of their business model so early on.

I bet when the smoke clears they will do right by you.

I've had nothing but good service from DCC. Prices are decent, selection is a hell of lot better than most, and they've always responded to any questions in a timely manner. But I've only dealt with Herm, I can't say about anyone else there.

They did great for me before as well, but as I say...I hate getting blown off.
Still no response so I'm done. I'll find somewhere else I guess.....

Hey, Swag, call Bridge City Cycles at 503-284-1503 and see if he can get you what you need. Talk to Anthony and tell him Todd sent you. I believe he has access to most of the same suppliers. I know he's an authorized dealer for a bunch of major brands.

Incidentally his shop's grand opening party is tomorrow night.
