an electronic tach. for my 83' XL200R(12vt.)engine going into the CB125S

They used to have mechanical tachs on the early CB125S models back in the mid 70's.
I've got an 81' model(it never had a factory tach.) that I'm going to install an 83' XL200R engine into and I'd like to know if anyone makes an electronic tach. w/ an analog needle readout? anyone ever seen one ?

I've looked online but just seeing ones for Harleys or automotive that only read up to around 8K,I'd like to have a small,round one that reads up to 12K and runs off the CDi,etc.?

Check out TrailTech, specifically their Vapor model. They have a wire that wraps around the spark plug wire and reads the pulses off that. Also you get the benefit of a temperature and speedo sensor. Watch Amazon for open box ones. I've picked up 2 so far and paid about $40 each.

I'll keep an eye open for that,thanks. Do you know if it has a needle rather than digital readout ?
