Another 74 cb360

Picked up a 74 cb360 for 400$
Got the pistons to move, not seized, that's good.
No spark so I ordered new points and condenser.
Gonna try to run her with no battery, it seems the alternator/generator is good!
My ht leads are all gummy on the inside, should I get new coils or just try to replace the leads?

It won't run/start without the battery. I'd get new coils. The universals from EMGO are fine. You'll have to fab up a bracket to mount.

If I hook up the battery eliminator will that allow

It will run without a battery, but NOT well.
