Another buy or don't buy question

It is $250, plus around $300 for registration. Runs well, needs front brake pads, and tires, has new battery. Want to build something along these lines:

I'd personally rather have the twin shock model. Thats a chain drive too. get it.

Yeah, he said $300 for the registration, not sure if it will be that much. Hopefully not.

I like the dual shock too, I'll just throw some taller nice ones on, clubmans, make a nice metal seat, lower the front end, paint. Should be banging!
