Another Cafe Seat Project!

Just like acouple people here I wanted to make my own. ;D

I used florist foam 'cause it was really cheap and easy to form. Just a sanding block w/80 grit paper will do.( Be careful though this stuff dents easily)

I used drain screen from Home Depot to shape the front of the seat.

After I taped up the foam and the screen so the fiber glass resin wouldn't be absorbed.

Man, you got ripped! I bought those at Gormans for thirty bucks apiece like the ones at Pottery Barn ;D Me and my wife did alot of bargain shopping when we bought our house.

Two tabs on both side of the seat. I'll post up pics. as soon as I get my camera fixed.....

Seat pan made of fiberglass. I'm starting to like working with glass....

Saved the original seat foam which was still in pretty good condition.
