Hello guys, I've been working on this '76 cb 360 for the past 6 months and I've decided to do a forum on my build. Here it goes... The first pic is when i brought this beaut home. UGLY Rear cowl, and an awesome cb 200 tank. and perhaps the most jinky rear shocks and body work.

That's not a bad start. Seat is ok as a starting point but doesn't match the style of that tank, shocks aren't the worst in the world, swingarm droop is about right but the clip ons appear to be upside down. Not a bad place to start from.

How does it look now after a winter of work?

I've always contended Carburetors were not needed & simply added weight. I'm glad to see this bike reflects that.

Are you going to try and pick up some stock CV carbs are go with something fancier?

Alright so this is when i just started working on it, the right side cover is off because i was checking the oil filter. She looks pretty clean on the inside.
I threw away that seat, it was not going to work with what I had in mind for this bike.

Re: The clip ons are definitely upside down, but that how the previous owner decided to put them on...

Hey a guys parting out a 74 360...I know the 360 parts are harder to come-by then the 350 shit. THis might be a way to snag some cheap stuff...

You threw the seat out? Ill never understand peoples willingness to trash take-off parts. That seat would have been an easy $50 for ya to put back into your build.

Anyhow, looks like a good start to a build. Keep the pics coming!

Thanks for the heads up! on the cb360 parts

The seat was a really badly fiberglass job, it wasn't worth the effort to try and resell, but ill keep that in mind for other parts.

Ok so i finally cleaned all the carbs that came with this bike. and pulled the engine out of her.

And although you asked - who said I'm a man? you didn't actually answer that unasked question. So to avoid confusion are you a male or female and let's skip the age connotations. :)

Second question: How would you like to share your ideas of your vision for the bike?

female.

and what i plan to do is obviously a cafe racer, flat green frame, off white tank and rear cowl. brown leather seat and leather accents throughout the bike. the engine is sound no needed work there, I have majority of my parts already, but since this is my first build, I decided to post for some outside opinions
