Made the first cut today, but not sure I like the hoop. Going to cut the top bar and level it out.

I think it looks much better in the last two pics with the straight hoop instead of upswept. No need to cut the top frame to flatten it now. I think that would be a real PITA to get nothing you will see when the seat is on.... Unless you are going for a flat Bratstyle seat, but even that can be had with the stock frame, check out NotLob's CB

Thanks Hoosier... I stumbled upon this today. I am torn between the brat seat or the Traditional. Really like the Cognito Moto 550 look.

Same in Maryland. I will add them later, but wanted to get things hooked up. Eventually I will go with the Motogadget M-Unit.

Old bits, but I have a roller. Still need to weld/finish weld and paint. I figure why paint now if I still want to change stuff.

I couldn't find it but after digging through my box of stuff, I found it. I think I am going to do the same as speedbump and go with harley wheels. I want to run spokes but want to go tubeless.

First time welding. Not that bad, but now that I have a seat pan, I want to move the horizontal bars up. Still have some finish work to do, but it's coming along---- slower than I wanted.

Didn't want to cut the top tube, so I made the pan fit the frame. It is setting on the tank knob, so I looks a bit off.
