Hey guys,
Just an introduction as im a new member!
I am loving the information available from this community its an awesome reference, i don't know how its taken me so long to find the site!
About me:
My names Tonci, i am 21 and live in Auckland, Zealand.
I got my passion for bikes from my dad and uncle. My dads a Harley rider and owns a CVO springer, CVO ultraglide (ithink) and is having a 1924 Indian restored at the moment. My uncles a BSA man, having ridden them since his teen years and collected bikes and parts in all the time between now and then.
I am currently on my restricted motorcycle licence (as we have 3 stages: Learners, Restricted and Full) so cannot ride a bike over the 250cc mark.
I thought i would be smart and buy a simple 250 and ride that till i got my full and upgrade without having to spend too much money, so i went for a Suzuki GN250 2006.
Famous last words though, as even with a far few months left before being eligible for a Full licence i've become bored of the GN250s standard look and have begun the process of tinkering with the cosmetics.
I've started a thread in the Seats and Tank section as i try make my own seat out of Fibreglass.... this will be a new experience which i relish.
I hope at some stage to begin a project with my uncle building a BSA B31, once that happens i will make sure i get a ton of photos to make a good old build thread!
Anyway, thanks again for the huge amount of information you all offer its been great being able to research a task before going headlong into it.
