Hey Guys. Its good to see a bunch of people from Grand Rapids on here. I am a new owner to a 1980 GN400x. im doing a bunch of cosmetic stuff right now. Im having some issues with Spark. I installed a new coil but that didnt seem to make any difference. I have a small battery installed to make sure i have power and all that jazz, and after taking apart the ignition a few times i have power to my dummy lights and the tail light and blinkers (the terminals anyway) but i have no headlight. The bulb is good but the wires are messed up somewhere. I will be attaching some progress photos from the bigining up to where i am now. If you have any ideas that might help me with where to start with my spark issue that would be awesome. Otherwise let me know what you think of my first build so far. Thanks.
Some new rubber, some frame shaving and we are up to current. yes i am doing all of this working the parking lot of my apt. because i currently have no where else to work on it. I am however currently talking and hanging out with the great folks at 120CycleMods so hopefully I'll be able to get my bike down there soon.
