Hey guys, here's my bike. 1975 CL360 all original.
And Here's my inspiration. Not sure who's bike this is but I really like the way it was done and I'm hoping some of the guys on the forum can help me figure out where to get some of the parts used on this bike starting with the seat and tank. Also if anyone knows of a build thread for this bike please post a link. Thanks!
Looks like you've got a good starting point. Your 360 looks to be in pretty good shape.
The other bike is a 350, but I don't remember seeing it on here before... that doesn't mean it's not here, I just haven't come across it before. I'm figuring that my 360 will come out slightly similar though. You've got good taste! ;D
I'm not sure what that tank is, but I'd suspect that it's the stock one. I'm not that up on my 350s but w/ a flip lid like that it would be a later 350; a '72 or '73. (?) If you are looking for a nice tank check out the '68 350. It's a bit more square than that one and has the vintage-looking rubber knee pads. I'm putting the tank from a '77 CB400F on my 360, at least I won't have to get gas every 100 miles and it's a great looking tank.
The only way I know of is to make a post to the thread... then it comes up in the "Show new replies to your posts" list and you can also go to your profile and get to the list of posts you've made. If somebody else out there knows another way to mark or highlight your fav threads let us know.
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=574482 Haven't tried this guy but I see he's only got this one post plus he's ignored other members on ADV rider already. I'm kinda wondering if it's really his bike even?
Here's a different pic but the bike now has a few subtle differances that I noticed (older pic maybe?). Seems as though nobody can find the builder including the current owner (Joshua Hoffman) who doesn't seem to know alot about it and won't reply to my emails.
I'm sure you can take the pic you hav to a local Upholstery Shop and get a custom one made cheaper than you think heck your in San Diego your next to sum of the best Upholsterers in the USA we ship are boats out there from Missouri for Upholstering ..
