Hi all, wanted to say i love the posts on here! great bikes and people who actually work on there own bikes!
I presently own three bikes,two xs650 yamahas. Both of them are cafe's, and are the "447" long rod motors,The other bike is my 73 cb 350f that i land speed race at Maxton NC (E.C.T.A) And is a three time record holder.
I am a fabricator and welder,maintenance supervisor by trade,and do ALL my own work.
Thanks for letting me join this group,I hope i can contribute something and share ideas.

Yea,i like staying at TWO and riding blood mountain.
Hwy 60 from Suches to delonaga,or 180 is a blast too!.

very nice. i was thinking of doing the same green color. do you have a front shot of that little clear windscreen? how fast is that record on your 350?

Tell me more about the 350F? especially the suspension setup you have going there. I like.

The whole suspension was pirated from a 92 gsx 600, very easy mods to make. timkin conversion on frt with a two degree rake by angling the bearing cups. shaved the pivot points on the swingarm 1/2" on each side and dropped it right in. square tube shock mts added and ground off old mono shock mts

I cut that fly screen from a surplus police riot shield! its curved and is bullet proof. bugs dont stand a chance! i will post some front pics tomorow.
