Another noob re-jetting question

Hi guys. Im currently building a lil honda CB125j and put a cone filter on, but now is revving like a loon!
Now, the twist is, that when i stripped down the engine, i found out it was a 100na engine, that someone down the line has put in.

Ive put a cone filter on as the airbox wasnt present when i bought it as a wreck and understand she now needs re-jetting.

Do i need new jets, if so, which?

Fitting a cone filter usually requires you increase your main jet size and alter the needle height, along with some other tweaking, trial and error I'm afraid, unless you can find a tune up kit specific for your model, there is an excellent article on carb tuning elsewhere on the forum, alternatively a Dyna centre may tune it for you. Personally I would try to find an airbox to make sure the bike actually runs okay and there is no other problem.

You didn't put slide in backwards?
The slot on the side of it has to locate with a pin inside carb body

Good info, will check tomorrow morning and report back.Managed to find the stock filter (no box), so will also try that to see if theres any difference.
