another rider recently hit with a realization of actually learning how the got damn thing works rather than just riding the got damn machine like its a mustang needed to be broken..... my recent goal of being a student on the art of appreciating the internal and external workmanship of the motorcycle started 3-4 weeks ago...I was lucky enough to came across this site, filled with mild mannered, well-rounded cafe builders....hope I guessed that right....lol.....anywho! just wanted to intro myself and say hello all the way fom NJ/NY....btw, some guy name loco leon bribed me to join......in exchange for some CB manuals....lol

welcome!!!!

so.. what kinda bike are you taming?

just bought a couple of CBs, two 350's to learn how to tear down and chop; i'm totally an idiot at this at this time but I pretty much can tatckle anything I put my mind to.... I also got lucky and snagged a sweet CB750 super sport which I'll also try to modify......keeping the 750 original except tank, handles, and tail......

trying to learn this forum.....I think learning how to rebuild an engine may be easier......so far I know Go! will cute me to death....lol

trying to learn how to post pics..

Welcome to the site man! There is a tutorial on how to link images from photobucket on here somewhere - can do a search for it.

And watch out for Go!, she can be dangerously cute!

I felt that way at first about Eileen, but it kinda stands out on DTT to build a zook! I am still a Honda guy at heart though! Welcome to the club! May I suggest to you not to change the tank on you 750! Embrace it and build around it. If you want to see what not to do on a 750, check out about the first 20 or so pages of Basement Rat's thread! Sorry BR, you know its true though! :D
