Any Fixed Gears on Here?

Gave up on fixies..smashed couple of times, frame bented on so many places it is beyond repairing.
Got myself Bottecchia, single speed only.

That Bridgestone and Bottechia is cool. I haven't owned a fixed gear in two years, but I have a single speed cyclocross Bianchi San Jose with a flip flop hub if that counts, a Specialized M2 with Apex groupset, and a Cannondale hardtail mountain bike. All fun bikes.

If massive is what you're into then consider the Surly Moonlander.

wow, at no time would I ever want to ride that bike. It would take so much force to get those wheels moving..

Nope. I own a fatbike and it's an absolute riot. I've done short quickies to massive epic outings on it. They're great bikes and their popularity is picking up steam big time. They're getting more and more popular as people are hard pressed to find something these bikes can't do.

I freaking LOVE mine. 8)

Sorry for reposting the pic.

Another angle. :)

I ride it year round. One of 7 bikes in my quiver but selected very often.

Originally had it set up as a singlespeed but now run an Alfine 8 on the rear.

Sorry for the ass shot but my bike flies well too if/when I decide to push it.

Again, great fun bikes.

There is something about those Surly fat-bikes... every time I look at one, I get a big stupid grin on my face. Way cool! I'd love to pick one up at some point, but they're a little rich for me right now. I'll be sticking with my Specialized Rockhopper until such time as I can really afford to upgrade the pushbike. But it looks like you're having a blast with that thing - keep up the stoke! :)

Two recent pics from ridin with my buddies last week

Swapping frames with a friend later this week! Gonna paint it lime green and gold pinstripe the lugs!

Stoked

I found my fixie while I was at Tech School in Wichita Falls, Tx. It was sitting there for months, someone robbed the bars and the sprocket off of it and the tires were trash. I asked the NCO in charge if it was ok for me to take it since it had been abandoned.

I think its one of those cheap bikes direct bikes with a no name frame. Whatever I just wanted it to set up a throwdown Bike Polo bike. It was cool that it came with a flip flop hub though I forget the tooth count as its in the States and I am not.

Its hanging out with my Scott MTB and my "No name frame" commuter.

Are you by chance a Crew Chief?
That's where I had my Tech School for F-4's. So that gives you an idea how long ago it was. ::)

Nope, Im an engine specialist. C-130's and I can almost guarantee you that Wichita Falls probably has not changed much at all. Its been 3 years since I have been there my self but my Great Uncle had tech school there too and he said other than a couple buildings not much has changed.

Not a fixed gear, but here's a video I made for Fairdale's single speed Parser:

I would rather have a bicycle with multiple speeds selected with a shifter lever, just as I would rather have a motorcycle with the same. But then I spend more time than most in the real world.....

They make bicycles with more than one gear? ::)

Currently inactive over on rat rod bikes. Rebuilding/modifying a 1937 Henderson and a 1958 Firestone Beach Cruiser. Regular rider is a cheap LaJolla, can't ride on the roads around here, tractors hog both lanes when it is nice enough to hit the pavement, and our ditches all have big trees in them.

I've got a matched pair of his & hers 1974 Scwinn Suburban 10 speeds but I don't like them. Steering stem, luggage rack and handlebar donors for the antiques.
