Any GSXR experience?

I love the 90's GSXR 750's, though if it were me, I would return it to its former glory:

Right on, brother.

I would swap the seat unit for something less bulbous, ditch the fairing, maybe add a belly pan, keep the factory colors, add some Renthal bars and mount a bare Hayabusa headlight.
In reality I'd probably sell it cos I don't have enough space for more projects :)

Pretty much except for the busa headlight. Going with a 7" round generic headlight.

Current issue is the tumblers are seized so I can't remove the rear cowl. I've tried various lubricants and penetrating oils, but both (ignition and under tail) tumblers are completely seized. Anyone have a good tip on freeing these up? Not really sure how to remove the cowl if I can't unlock that tumbler without damaging the cowl.

90 and under are the best GSXR's. The old 750 and 1100 oil boilers. Got one sitting as a project here right now
. Been about a year since I touched it haha

Yeah that's the best looking frame of the GSXR's...I didn't have the choice since the one I got was given to me.

Old GSXR1100 oilboiler frame may be prettiest but isn't the best handling.
It's a pity they never made Katana style perimeter frame in alloy, it's actually a much better design (but heavy as hell)
