Don't get me wrong, I certainly don't have the "every team but mine sucks" attitude. I will agree that the Ravens are a great football team, as are the Pats, Packers, etc. But in sports you have rivalries. The Steelers and Ravens, for one, is an extremely bitter one. That is why I and so many others in this town hate the Ravens, as I'm sure most Ravens fans hate the Steelers.

I didn't mean to imply that you personally feel that way, but many do.

A healthy rivaly is one thing, but a lot of fans seem to make it a personal thing, as if they have anything to do with it. I'm in Indy, so I'm not a Patriots fan but I have to give them their due respect.
 
I'v been to Pittsburgh and I've been to Wisconsin its a whole different ball o wax. it is a flat out religion. Those are Rural areas, (pittsburgh isn't but has a decidedly blue collar feel, which I love by the way, I almost moved there in 2000) and there isn't a lot else to do in Wisconsin but root for the packers!!

I had my sister and brother in law here with their two kids, all huge steelers fans, my 3 year old nephew spent the entire game running around with his steeler's football in his Steeler's pjs with his Steeler's helmet on. literally the whole game. except for the ice cream break!! Great being an uncle!

Ha... It isnt about Iowa. The Steelers love getting my blood pressure up. Always been a second half team though. Diesel, that sounds like a great night.
 
Jets!! Jets!! Jets!!! I just got to meet Shaun Ellis from the Jets yesterday. He's the guy who put Brady on his Ass twice last weekend. Turns out he use's the same Dr's / Sports Trainers as me. Huge guy.
 
Since the Pats lost its all come together for me. Pack beats da bears. (cutler is a loser) and the steelers beat the Jets! YES the goddamn Jets are out of it! Now I can root for the Packers so that Big Ben doesn't get to 3, yet.
 
So, you think a third super bowl win will cement Big Ben's place in the Hall of Fame?

I think the Steelers Defense vs. the Aaron Rogers offense will make one hell of a game.
 
Should be a great game. I do think 3 rings puts Ben in the hall. The Steelers remind me a bit of the old Pats from like 01-08, good core group of Veterans that really play like a family.

One thing though, Steelers are pretty banged up right now.
