just wondering if there were any other World of Warcrack players on here. With 12million plus players, I cant be the only damn one around. ;D

;D ahh dammit busted, well maybe I can be the only one after all. But I gotta say your D n' D trumps my WoW for uber geek status, IDk it's fun as hell anyway

I worked in a shop of 5 other guys who all played WOW... I was the only one who cared about motorcycles, cars, trucks and anything testosterone driven...

If I ever hear about someone talking about an "Epic"...

Motorcycles and Warcraft are diametrically opposed activities. I must urge you to refrain from posting anymore references to this colossal waste of time. Why did you join a motorcycle site anyway?

:D

I have a couple friends who love it. I don't get it.

I used to play Baulder's Gate and Diablo II once upon a time, but never serious online stuff, just me playing for the fun of it.

Then I got a drivers licence and a car. I still played a bit.

Then I turned 18, and discovered the awesome combination of university, women, and bars.

Didn't really play after that.

I play WoW, specially during the winter when I can't ride. Like anything else, it's fun in moderation.

My brother in law plays that game. Invests real life money into it. He spends all his time playing it. completely neglecting his wife and home. I spend a lot of money on motorcycles and even more time working on them but my bills are paid my wife is taken care of and my home is maintained. No offense but I think spending every waking hour on a friggin video game is stupid.

;D hmmm i didn't expect so much hate on a video game. It's 180 degrees off of bikes but so are a lot of other things, if you don't care about it then why bother responding ? I joined a motorcycle forum for the same reason you did, to see what other people are doing and share knowledge about bikes. But be careful, computers and motorcycles are diametrically opposed activities and you may be crossing into the nerd zone by posting on a forum. you may want to take some Testosterone supplements just to be safe ::)

thompson, becoming addicted and obsessed with anything is a problem, if you bro in law is neglecting the rest of his life for a game then he has bigger addiction issues.

I've heard rumors that WOW was developed by the government in collaboration with the new world order as a diversion tactic to distract people while they simultaneously hypnotize them and slip roofies into their Mountain Dew while they proceed with initiating the preliminary steps of Operation: Apocalypse. Just what I heard.....

That's why I only play while wearing my tinfoil hat!

Hahahaha, listen to the Dr kiddies! He knows best ;)

Never played WoW, but played warcraft and a few other MMORPG's.

Then I got laid. and i realized what life was. this was two years ago. im 17. yep, fantasy games just arent much fun anymore. id much rather be wrenching or doing something fun in real life.

no matter how many hours you spend leveling up, you havent done ANYTHING with your life but sit in a chair.

every so often i play some simulations, like live for speed or X-Plane (which is FAA approved!)

...in the future, dont ask about MMORPG's when your a new member on a HIGHLY testosterone driven website, such as a motorcycle forum.

I now name you "nerd". sorry, bro. I'm a huge nerd, but im a different kind and a nerd for other things, like physics and the other things that actually apply to life :D :D :D :D

Thanks buddy. Whatcha building over there when you aren't killing cave trolls? I miss a lot, but I'm ALWAYS interested in what people are wrenching on!!!

anyone that plays WoW has to expect some hate for it. i hate the game because its engineered to be an addiction. that's part of its business model. and with a population the size of actual countries, they've got the dollars to make it as addictive as possible.

that said, to be too manly for a video game strikes me as trying a bit too hard. waste of time? sure. YOU'RE A BORING VIRGIN? grow up.

WoW, or any other video game for that matter, are no different than watching TV as far as I'm concerned. Spend your free time doing what you enjoy. I know I do. ...when I get free time.
Always amusing to see the violent opposition to things like this.

Here's a list of nerds with no life. You might recognize a few. All of them play WoW. Whether you like them or not, you have to admit they're successful, productive folks.

Mila Kunis - Actress
Jay Mohr - Comedian
Dave Chappelle - Comedian
Curt Schilling - 3 time world series winner
Vin Diesel - Actor
Kevin Werbach, assistant professor of legal studies and business ethics at Wharton, and Susan Crawford, who teaches communications and Internet law at the University of Michigan, co-chair of President Obama's FCC transition team.
Robin Williams - Comedian

I have 3 bikes i've been workin on http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=20531.0

As far as Wow, meh whatever...IDK people can hate on it, bust my balls hit me with all the stereotypes (live in the parents basement, don't get laid ,etc) I better tell my wife and kid, I'm sure they don't know about my double life. ;D

I don't play WoW, but do play video games. The wife and I don't even have cable or dish. And I have plenty of time for the house and the bike :D

I have built a few gaming machines for friends, so of course I stress test them. :D Hard to beleave some people will drop 6k on a computer so they can access a certian realm in WoW. But hey if they didn't I wouldn't make some extra bucks once in a while.
