anybody? GOOD product AND method for ALMOST waterproofing new leATHER???

Ok gang the standard biker jacket i bought in daytona in 1991 is retiring due to shortness of length. i have conditioned it from day one with everything except sno seal.

hAS anybody found a good product AND method for waterproofing or resisting on new leather?Waterproofing new jacket - dubbin, mink oil or sno seal or soemthing new??? do I get out the hair dryer and melt it in?

by the way , check out leatherup for great prices n bike jackets wholesale. they are he same name bramds and models at half the cost here. I know becuase i tried it on here then even with tax , shipping and duty got a great buy

well made good thick leather, but must order one size larger or two if you like loose at all. nice fit, long arms, vents, etc. in the store here $300
 
there may be better stuff for waterproofing but this stuff is amazing for conditioning new leather and restoring vintage leather

I got it at a local military surplus and the 4oz container has restored a couple vintage jackets (70s-80s), vintage sholderbag (40s-50s super beat up), 2 pairs of boots and my icon jacket. still have about 2/3s of it too.


the website will tell you more than I can but its all natural stuff that wont degrade the leather. developed by wildfire fighters for use in the field or something. cant say enough good about it.
