Anybody running Dunlop K70 tires? How are they?

Coast to Coast
I was looking at the Dunlop K70 tires for my 72 CB500 Brat build. Anyone running these tires? How are they?

Thanks!
John

K70's are cool tires IMO. They are what I plan on using for my BRAT build. They are not high performance tires though. I will be using them for general around town riding. Not gonna use them for canyon carving.

Yes, I'm just cruising with these tires. No high speed turns or anything like that. Purely country back roads at 40-45 mph. I commute a hour each way to work (when it's warm).

I've got them, I like them alot. I wish they were cheaper though.
Considering how little i ride my bike, I wish I went with shinkos.

What's the biggest that'l fit in a cb250n with 19f 18r without looking stupid ?

The rear tire comes in 4" only. The front tire comes in 3.25" or 3.5". Personally, I would lean towards the wider tire in the front (3.5"). Looks more balanced.

Good prices here:

Eye, its hard imagining the stance of the bike when its in bits. Some pictures on a cb250n would be great. I've looked, boy have I looked.

Hi Shug. I see CB250N pictures all over the net. What year is your bike?

81. I've seen loads, but theirs never much info on what tyres are on. I'm after something for bumpy back lanes, something chunky but nose poser chunky  I'm going slightly scramblerlized ??? so I'll probably end up with a more off road tread. Comstars as well btw 8) ;D

Find a picture of your bike and I can do a quick Photoshop of the tires on the bike, granting that it's at the right angle.
