Anybody tried pipe expander for aftermarket muffler hookup

Have aftermarket exhaust that I would like to apply to pipes. Has anyone had experience w pipe expander? I need to go up in pipe od by .155, and was wondering if expanding the pipe was even a good idea.

I am not usually a muffler kinda guy. I'm really making an effort to keep a tame sounding commuter for my new neighborhood.

We bought an expander off ebay, but broke it right away !
The expander was around 5" long, but we only needed to swell about 3" at the end of a pipe, so we only slid it about half way in. WRONG ! As soon as we torqued it up, it broke one of the bars........so be warned, make sure you fully insert the whole unit. Also, this type of kit is only going to work on relatively thin walled mild steel in my opinion.
We have a local engineer that performs the job for us on a machine for just a couple of pounds now, so why bother doing it yourself? He will also expand quite heavy stainless too........I'll bet there's a shop local to you that can do the same !
The other alternative is to find a piece to slip over with the correct ID.

I tried using one of the "loan a tool" pipe expanders from autozone. Biggest pain in the ass ever. I only had hand tools at the time, and the leverage required (even with two people) was ridiculous. Power tools may make it easier, but I doubt by much. As Titan suggested, I ended up bringing the pipe to a local muffler shop and had them do it. This was years ago, but iirc they charged me $10-15. Money well spent as far as I was concerned.
