Anyone have an iphone and have any photography apps?

If your talking about the iPhone 4, I don't think you need any apps for picture taking. It takes good pictures already, if you want to edit them why not use Photoshop, iPhoto, lightroom etc.... On your pc. I have the flickr app, it doesn't edited pics but it is very useful to post pic like on this forum, just copy and paste.

I'm talking about using different filters, changing exposure time, and editing, ect, The only thing I have now on my pc that I can use for editing photos is paint, I think, I haven't installed anything on my computer to do so.

I really like hipstamatic. You can mix and match lenses and films to create different looks and such. I'd recommend it.

Camera Bag is also pretty cool, but I like hipstamatic

buy a camera. i have a 2.5 mp olympus c-2500l i got for free. shure, it chews threw batteries and the 128mb of storage i have is fairly limiting (sucks i cant shoot more then 10 pics in raw), but it was free. and it actually takes some fricken good shots, if you know how to use it. its auto focus sucks, and i cant get more than 400 iso, and i cant get huge pictures, but it takes a nice shot when used properly, so im happy.

and i bet it takes a nicer picture then any 300 dollar phone. 8)

Gorillcam (free) is my all around picture taker, it has stuff like burst mode, time lapse, anti shake, level, timer and so on....
PS Express (free) (photoshop express) editing right on the iphone
Best Camera ($3) Some basic but cool edits, easy to use, then upload to 5 dif places at one touch of the button.

Im running this crap on a 3GS.

I have a Sony DSC-H9 8 mp camera, but I hate carrying it with me, just for the simple fact that I have use a back pack, with the iphone I can just throw it in my pocket and go.

I've got probably over $2500 in camera gear, but sometimes its just too annoying to carry a dslr, flash, and different lenses around with you. The iPhone actually takes some pretty decent shots when you don't want to carry your camera with you

+1. It's what I use too. The worst part of the app is the name and old school film effects getting associated exclusively with hipsters.

Is there a less shaky video app for the 4. I like the quality, it just seems to need a bit of stabilization. Or I need to lay off the coffee.

I'm really not liking the whole homologation thing happening with portable consumer technology lately... you know, your phone is your music player and camera and so on.

I have a $40 phone. It has 7 day battery life and awesome reception. Its very small and convenient, but also very basic.

I have a 30GB 'old-school' iPod. It works well and continues to do so.

I have a Fujifilm 8MP digital camera. Pretty basic but gives very good quality images.

All that stuff takes up a pocket in my backpack, or if I don't have a backpack I don't take it. I find if I'm just going about my business I really don't need a camera/musicplayer/web connection in my pocket. If I anticipate needing any of those functions, I take the appropriate stand-alone gear to make sure I don't have to compromise.

No offence to the iPhone users, they are pretty convenient bits of gear. I'm looking at getting one myself for an upcoming sojour around Australia; purely for the convenience of uploading photos etc to the web and staying in touch with everyone.

Cheers - boingk

They sure are great for when you're bored at work or school!

I got an iPhone because I was ready for an upgrade on my BlackBerry (and I hated the damn thing) and my iPod had seen better days. I won't lie- the apps and awesome internet interface drew me too. Overall, its not something I need but I love the functionality and convenience it (or any smartphone really) brings
