I've heard good things about these shocks on other forums. I just want an external gas reservoir that won't break the bank. Hagons are at the top of the list but they don't offer this feature. WP stuff is pricey and so is Ohlins. If I could find a used set of Ohlins shocks for less than $800 I would buy them. I don't want to use someone's old CB900F shocks. I want something that not only looks good but is functional.
Swivel - Are you referring to two different companies when you say W/P and WP?
"Y.S.S. USA is located in Manalapan, New Jersey (Location Map) to service the American market with the new generation of Y.S.S. gas shocks that are under continuous development by Y.S.S. Thailand. Y.S.S uses only quality materials and the latest wizardry in suspension technology to manufacture the world class Y.S.S. gas shock absorbers, maintaining quality control throughout the planning phase, research stage and manufacturing process."
BTW - ignorant question - what's the advantage of the reservoir? What specifically does that design offer that a non-reservoir design doesn't? I really don't know.
