Anyone out there in Ottawa?

I wasn't sure where to put this thread and thought since Toronto isn't that far from Ottawa, might not be a bad place to start it. I've seen a few cafe styled bikes out here, but not very often. Would love to see a few more and was just wondering if there were others in Ottawa that were lurking around this forum.

Maybe I'll just have to make my way down to Toronto sometime...
 
When you get back to Ottawa, send me a PM. It would be nice to see some other cafe styled bikes around here!
 
I just picked up my first bike, 1981 Honda cm400e, just a few weeks ago. Now that I'm 21 I'm going to get it on the road, and start collecting parts for a cafe conversion done on a tight budget. Once I have enough parts to do most of the conversions, I'll post up a build thread with pics and color commentary.

I also have the clymer book for honda 400-450 v-twins from 78-87 if that's useful to anyone
 
I live in Ottawa, although my XS650 is currently more rat then anything else due to my refusal to do unessacery wrenching to it until winter. Jus put a small windscreen on it and noticed that the stock bars put me too high up with the screen so now I'll haveta get some lower bars. Thinking clubmans but not sure how that will work with mid controls.

Also Ive met some other cafe enthusiests around here and mentioned this forum but nothing seeems to have come from it.
 
Build is coming along.. I just put the linky in my sig. I actually don't have my M1 yet lol taking the riding course this weekend tho. Bike should be OTR very soon though, just need a few more parts and gotta sort out the electrical stuff. Also I keep getting a bunch of effing stripped screws / seized hardware :( working on a 30 year old barn find has its woes lol
 
Looks like I'm staying here for the winter, still thinking of that area in the spring, maybe Aylmer... possibly as far as Quyon
