Cool pics. The woods reflecting in water in the first snow pic is pretty wild.
Also, looks like you aced the narrow bridge but bought it on the wider one hehe.

I use to race through my 20s and 30s. Loved east coast single track the gnarlyer the better but my body just won't hold up to that stuff any more. My back really gives me fits and I've not been on my bike for 2 years. I think this was taken two years ago this Feb.

the first pic is me and the second is my buddy. he went straight into the water! same bridge in both pics

I still ride. I've got a 29er hard tail but I visit Rays Indoor MTB occasionally so I although my personal bike is very XC, I can at least do something on a BMX bike.

No problems with the back yet, which I'm lucky for.

Mongoose XR200 is my weapon of choice. Front and rear shocks with disc front brake. We don't have any mountains here in Florida, but we do have tails through woods, and plenty of technical rides through water, sand, deep bushes, trees and the like. Next time I go, I'll try and get some shots of the stuff we go through.

i would more if theirs any mountains around. I screw around on my bosses 29er orbea carbon (ways about 19 pounds, its ridiculous) and some other bikes at the shop i work at (ive ridden every cannondale, orbea, etc). they are fun, but completely impractical for the city.

Yes! Primarily DH though.... my wife and I ride every weekend in the summer - local shuttles and travel to all the resorts that have lift accessed riding. We have a big group of friends.. all with kids the same, wives that all ride and most of us have travel trailers so we can camp in the evenings. It sure makes for a lot of fun and its great that all our families enjoy it too! Being from Calgary, Alberta, we have excellent access to some sweet riding! In the spring and fall, my buddies and I spend a lot of time trail building at the local spot.
My newest ride is a 2010 Transition Bottle Rocket, and my other bike is a hand built cromo hardtail (Uriedog Bicycle Werks OE800) with a 1.5 headtube, and single speed - its super fun on the machine built jump trails!

It's a LONG, COLD winter and I can't wait for the nice weather to get here!!

Nice ride!

Last summer, in Wisconsin.

My '09 Specialized Rockhopper Expert Disc.

after the trail turned out to be a bit more wet than we originally thought! (private trail =) ) Stock fasttrax didn't do much good. Have some Captain Cntrls on now. 2.3 front 2.1 rear.

she's all clean now hanging in my garage waiting for this snow to disappear.

im going to make this viral...

Mountain Bike $1200...
Video camera $500
Helmet $120...

Firsthand knowledge of why a nice massage from your significant other is appreciated after a long day riding.... Priceless!

All kidding aside, she is a trooper... a couple of the guys i ride with would be whimpering in pain and a spill like that...

BTW, your reaction... "oh shit" while keeping the camera fixed on her was great!

didnt you ever teach her to lean back while going downhill and to not hit the front brake? xD

Love Mountain Biking. Raced DH, XC, Dual Slalom for 7 yrs. Here is one of my MTB's I also own a RED LINE, Monocog and my all time Favorite is My Spooky Cycles Metal Head with the Rohloff 14 Speed internal geared hub. I will post a picture later. Had that one custom painted a few yrs back. This is my current bike which is the Independent Fabrications, Ti Deluxe. It has new wheels since this picture. But I tear up the trails any chance I get.
This was custom built for me. I had it painted with the Lamborghini green panels. Figured that would be about as close as I could get to the real thing at this point.
