Anyone running a battery eliminator on a cb360?

My alternator seems to work on permanent magnets, so I'm guessing it should work? Also, is anyone running a newtronic eletronic ignition on either these or other bikes?

to my knowledge they do not work on vintage hondas. your stater still requires electrical current in order to start the bike.

Even if the eliminator works, the Newtronic needs a battery of some sort.

Go kick only, get the smallest 12V setup you can, and enjoy hot happy sparks!

(I want Newtronic, oh, yes, I do!)

Any US Importer for these?

Yup and yup, Newtronics doesn't fit under the cover and the batt eliminator doesn't work with the headlight on.
