Anyone tried this seat? Vintage Cosmo

Not this exact seat but his stuff is usually pretty darn good and fairly priced

I told the guy I thought he should go for it for that price...expecially considering it is upholstered already. Good to know the guys stuff is good. If anyone has tried it or a seat like it, a picture would rock!

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. I'm getting ready to put it on my Harley Sprint. It is good quality from what I've seen of others fiberglass work. Definitely worth the price.

I could spend a couple of hours on it sandin a spot or touchin up somethin but then it's high quality & I'll need to charge more...This is not a blem or a 2nd... which is it? a couple hours cleaning up fiberglass sounds like it isn't very good :p

It's a great seat, especially for the money....dunno any 'glass house that can touch it for the price esp. since it's got the upholstery already. I've got three of them sitting in storage for use later (I stocked up) and the worst one of the three is still far better than "acceptable" with the largest markout being something like a 1/4" long and 1/16" wide nick thru the gelcoat surface.
As well...these are light. I've seen what some others sell and they are certainly made of fiberglass but that doesn't mean they are well made. If i were to venture, these are laid up and run thru an autoclave. There's no voids, no ridiculously thick parts....just strong and uniform.
Go for it, you'll be pleased even if you DO have to sand it and repaint..
