Anyone use DCC rear sets & linkage?

Was looking at purchasing DCC rear sets with linkage set. Anyone have any experience with it? Building CB550. Any info would be great.

I've used the loaded gun ones from them.
Good quality
Get folding pegs unless you like sliding out when the peg hits the ground.

Did you need the linkage set too? Sorry new to the riding scene as this is my first bike. Could you explain the folding pegs a little bit?

Sure man.
I used thee linkage as well.
You need the linkage, whether you make it yourself or use off the shelf parts(which you'll still have to modify, nothing is "bolt on")

And as far as the folding pegs, with fixed pegs of you lean too far into a turn and your Rearset hits the ground (mounted too low, like passenger peg brackets on a 350) it should fold up.
With the fixed pegs that don't old what happens in this case is that the peg acts as a pivot point and lifts the rear tire off the ground, which as you can guess leads to a wipeout.
I speak from experience here a this exact same thing happened to me on my 350.

Wow. Well thank you for the advice. I can't believe they would even sell a product that could put you at that type of severe risk. Much appreciated

Well in their defense, this is only an issue if they are mounted too low, ie where everyone mounts them on a 350 because its easy.

I have a set of non folding rear sets that I'm planning on mounting a couple inches above the passenger peg spots. Should I still be using foldable pegs?

Mock them into place and give your bike a good look from behind. Where mine are mounted, I've got bigger problems if the pegs make contact with the pavement.

I doubt it will be an issue, just mock them up and check how far it will lean, I'd imagine a couple inches higher is plenty

I figured they'd be fine there but ya never know. Definitely don't want to find out when I'm taking a huge turn ;)

On a 550 you shouldn't be mounting them that low and shoudln't be using the passenger pegs unless you are incredibly flexible so should be good without folding ones. I have a set of Tarozzi non-folding I am ab to mount. I just dont like the look of the folding ones as much.
