Appliance Paint... Fuel Proof?

Been Around the Block
I'm at the point where I'm ready to rattle can the fuel tank on my bike. I may have read on here somewhere that Krylon Appliance Epoxy is resistant to fuel spillage. Is this true? Or... what about using Engine Paint for the tank? Would this be somewhat impervious to a spill?

To my understanding, appliance epoxy isn't gas resistant. And I actually asked about the engine enamel as well, you would have to bake it in an oven to get it to cure. You absolutely should not use an oven that you plan on cooking food in because of the chemicals released from the paint. Plus any leftover gas fumes can blow the oven up.

Eastwood sells some 2K clear coat that works wonders though.

That's the stuff. You're right, it's $$$. But it comes highly recommended by everybody that uses it.

And I hear ya on the oven. If I wasn't married, my stove would be in the garage. That's why we have microwaves, right? :D
