I second Lucky 7even an also nominate Ricardo Montalban because he's awesome an has nothing to do with any of this

Wow I have been flat out with my new job (~a month) and haven't really been hangin out here of late.

I would love to accept the nomination!

I have been working towards getting a cj360 engine built but as I said, busy busy busy! I will try and keep posting as I go through the engine build. Currently it is all in pieces, I am sourcing places to get the cases and cyl blasted and prettied up.

New job didn't provide me with a vehicle so Ceejay has been getting some miles! Only a few issues, had a pin leak in the tank and had to patch that, mirrors kept loosening and so did the rearsets. Nothing a bit of loctite couldn't fix! Being only 5'8" the bike is so much more comfy than I was expecting! Sure it ain't a cruiser, but it is good for a drive around town. I did a ride out to a mates place ~50km round trip comfortably.
Also, I am having a bit of trouble with idling and a bit of misfiring. My guess is it isn't happy with stock jets, but it pulls real nice once i'm on the throttle. I'm not planning on spending too much time with the 250, as the 360 will be the one I want to get running sweet.

Once the 360 is in I'll be looking at doing some distance on it.

Thanks for all the props guys, it really made my day when I found out!

Its come to my attention that Lucky 7even was BOTM last July, so that one is off the list. I'd like to second Ricardo Montalbon!

Since Ricardo Montalbon is being nominated, I would like to nominate Keira Knightly's Ducati 750:

I would also like to nominate her butt as well:

Here it is - your opportunity to get your favorite bike up on our banner!

The drill, for those of you unfamiliar with the process:

1. Nominate your favorite bike which hasn't WON the BOTM contest before (prior nominees are welcomed a second time, but maybe skip back a few months)

2. Someone else seconds the bike

3. The bike owner accepts the nomination and agrees to participate

No joke nominations - be honest about it. That being said there are NO RESTRICTIONS on what bike you nominate. Only rule is it should be represented on DO THE TON in a thread somewhere posted up by the owner with details on the bike.

The nomination MUST MUST MUST include the builder's DO THE TON username, a link to the thread detailing the bike, and at least 1 picture of the bike.

There we go - simple rules - Let the nominating begin!

...so lets not clutter this thread up.

I agree that Ricardo and Keira, or her butt, awesome as it may be shouldn't be nominated for BOTM. However, for those members who are contemplating making a seat for their builds, I would like to point out that when it comes to seat coverings, it is obvious that both, especially the afore mentioned butt, are experts in fine Corinthian leather!

So far it looks like we have moho and belch_brother in the voting, waiting on black motor covenant and bicyclebobe to accept, and we still have a little time to get in a couple more! I will try to set up the voting poll in the next couple of days, so lets get them in here quick!

I'll throw one more up here, haha. Need a few more choices than two...

I know this one's been nominated a couple times, but it sticks out in my mind. And believe me when I say I know how much work went into the glass tank and seat...

Well, here we go again I guess. Thanks for the nomination Ringo and the second Jackstraw. It's been a while, so why not, let's play again.
