Are there any premade CB350 seat that fits OVER the frame?

Been Around the Block
Most of the premade CB350 cafe seats I've seen seem to sit on TOP of the frame and not over the frame. The problem with this, IMO, is that the seat then sits about 1" higher than the bottom of the tank. Is this because of how people mount the seats or would I need to find a wider seat that fits over the frame? Any help is appreciated.

Note this pic how the seat is on top of the frame and is about 1" higher than the bottom of the gas tank:

And now see this pic, courtesy of ducatiboy, how the tank sits on the same plane as the tank. It just LOOKS right. How can I achieve this look?

That's a bcr tank an tail combo. Expensive. They're plenty of seats that go over the frame. Just have to look around an read up on build threads to see what they used and what you like. I don't like that seat at all in the first pic.

Ducatiboy replaced the stamped steel seat rails with tubing, lot's of fabrication but worth the effort.

Ahh, gotcha!

I guess the EASIEST way to achieve this look is to measure my frame and find a seat wide enough to fit OVER the frame and not rest on top, correct?

Yes, I just bought a seat that was made for the 350 and it overhangs the top rails by about an inch.
