cut off the nut on the headlight fairing bracket so I can slide the t-bolt clamp through. Prepped and painted my "custom" gauge mount bracket and headlight bracket. My headlight should be coming in the mail soon.
Nice bike. looks to be in good condition. I just finished swapping my buddy's sv to a naked. He went with just a headlight and no fairing. He also swapped to a trail tech vapor gauge. It took some time to wire. We actually need to finish it by installing some diodes to make everything work. It came out pretty good. The mirrors and the turn signals match in shape.
Sweet. Love the LSL headlight. I want to go with a vapor gauge as well but it seems like it is a lot of work to get it to work right. Maybe next winter. In the meantime I have to use the stock fairing to hide the HUGE stock gauge.
PLEASE let me knwo what you are going to do with that fairing... i tour on my 600 every day, it is the older body style and i would love not only to have more wind protection but also to make it look newer man! really dig your scoot
what you going to do with the blue on the fairing? i would see if you can color match that paint to tie it in... would also recomend a stearing damper the diff on this bike is night and day! they are a blast to ride!
Yea I'm starting to figure out I might need a steering damper for the poopy forks. I'm going to swap the springs and fork oil first to see if its enough for me. I'm planning on painting the blue fairing the same copper color as the bike but thats going to have to wait till the forks are taken care of.
The LSL picture isn't mine. It was another member showing his progress. Well, while waiting on my new shock, I went ahead and pulled the stock one out.
