ATTN Hardtail bob and chop guys...and people who like cheap mods!

I agree Kiley, but I really liked the fire extinguisher mod! He did some good work on parts and others....well they fell a bit short...but he did do all the work to his own ride...I give that big props, and i bet he smiles huge every time someone ask him a question about it!

Oh absolutely. And it's not a bad design at all, I give him props for garage building that thing. I just think if you go that far, why not innovate a smudge....ah, you know what I mean.

Good effort, but that carburettor thing was seriously retarded. No idea why, other than Hardley Ableson's also have a single carb and two cylinders.

Other than that I thought he'd made a pretty damn good effort.

Cheers - boingk

Theoretically, the solo carb is a great idea for tuning purposes. It gives you one carb to tune, and if the manifold is built right, spot on equal metering to the cylinders without variation. Idle adjustment that is always right, etc....this however is not so pretty. I have seen it done right though....

Why is it, whenever people fab up their own exhausts. do they always leave weird/sharp bend and/or joints right before the muffler?! Every garage chop job I see has some hacked up looking exhaust combo with a "right 90" where a "left 90" should be? Other than that, it's cool that he did it all in his own garage, with his own skills. The single carb intake looking thing, ehh, not so much, but hey, he did it himself. Gotta give him a pat on the back for that. But seriously, FIX THE EXHAUST! Pipe is cheap as hell, and with all the other fab wrk I saw, he definitely has the skill to make that section just in front of the muffler flow smoothly.
