Awesome Shop!!!

Hey, I just watched this short video about this awesome motorcycle shop in Vancouver called Motomethod...Basically you pay a 100 dollars a year to have access to the shop and rent space to work on your own project. All the tools in the shop are free for any member to use and the shop owners can offer/show customers how to do things on their projects. I really love this idea of a shop and it is inspires a sense of camaraderie among us motorcycle "wrenchers"...Enjoy!

Its a nice idea, and if there are enough people with money around it can work. I just checked out their rates and its:

$100 per year membership
$25 per hour for using the DIY service
$1 per day storage

So if you need it for small jobs like oil changes etc. it could be worthwhile, especially in downtown Vancouver where there are gazillions of condos, and loads of people don't have parking.

But if you were building a full on project, $25 per hour would add up really quickly. $100 a week for 4 hours of working on your bike. Would motivate you to finish quick!
