this my seem kinda noob, but my bike stand broke, so all i have left is the kick. i dont like working on the bike with just the kick, so im thinking of getting axle stands and removing the bike stand permanently. does anyone know where i can get a decent cheap pair of axle stands in toronto or online? are they universal or is there a specific size or style for a cb350 twin?
second is i need to jack the bike to remove the forks and wheels, any tips or tricks would be helpful. as in what i can use, whats a good style jack, etc... im pretty much at square one so any help is appreciated. also the frame is not even on the bottom of my bike the left side is atleast an inch higher, is there a trick to the cb350 or is it just a matter of shimming it with wood or something? im nervous about damaging the exhaust as its very close to the frame, maybe even lower than the frame.
