I've been helping a pal build a cafe style bike from a little Honda single. It's a tiny bike, but still holds some challenges to get an end result that looks the part.
The foot pegs and stands on these little bikes are attached to a single assembly which bolts under the engine, and with that removed, there isn't anywhere obvious to mount a rearset kit. We overcame that issue by welding some hangers to the frame, but then had to manufacture a side stand mounting which could be bolted to the frame somewhere. This created another issue, as the new stand bracket would foul the chain run.....
I don't have any pictures of the rusty festering hulk we started with, these pictures show where we are at now. The paint looks dull, as it is keyed ready for lacquering over the graphics, and the tank and seat are loosely attached.....
