Back Wheel Disassembly

DC74inc

Come on in and sit on it.
Remove four bolts,
Remove Massive Circlip,
THEN, it seems the bearing is double sealed.
Once with a threaded steel spacer,
under that a simple plastic seal.

It appears the threaded steel spacer has been tacked in place at the threads but by a rivet like dent, not weld. hm. anyone have some wisdom on rear tire disassembly>>??
Thx

Notice the 4 dots to install and remove the spacer.. I will make the tool for that, if it's even possible to remove.

Is that 1/8in going to entail drilling barely into the threads, that seems drastic, like it Imight stake it up in a different way.

Yes, but you are only going in far enough to remove the staked material. Sometimes you get lucky and can just turn it with a pin spanner, but you risk damaging the threads.

Lol now the sprocket is fused to the hub with 40 years of stubbornness. Keep tapping and what not until something budges
