Hear hear - I've done this before as well. You could also re-tap the aluminum tapered nut with a larger thread. That stuff is all quick-and-dirty from China and not made of replaceable parts.HerrDeacon said:May be easier to find a longer screw and then put a nut on back of the aluminum tapered piece.
